MySpace News – A Threat For Digg ?

MySpace will release in the second quarter of this year a news service running on the community rating system that Digg uses in combination with the Google News system, of course, a custom made one. It is much probably it will be a big competition for Digg and Digg-like websites because of it’s huge membership and traffic, but, fortunately for Digg, MySpace’s users aren’t Tech Geeks, as Digg’s and it may not be a direct competition, but still it’s a big threat for it. Will Digg remain the leader of the market only for the Technology niche, losing the other categories ? We will see once with MySpace News release.
