2010 Roundup

I know 2011 has been here for two weeks already, but my vacation has just ended and I really wanted to stay away from the PC this time, which made me feel very good and relaxed. Now I want to think about what I did in 2010 and how was the year for me.

I’ve had a lot of goals last year and I managed to accomplish almost all of them, though my needs have changed in the meantime.

I wanted to get a home and I didn’t, but I managed to raise the money for it, so I’m very happy with it, even if I won’t probably get one very soon. I have been thinking and I think I will continue to pay rent for a while because I’m not very sure where I want to live.

I also wanted to get a new car because my 2006 Ford Focus was getting old, so on March 23rd I woke up and said “I’m getting a car for my birthday,” without any earlier plans. And that’s exactly what I did. After I searched and made some calls for a few hours, I went in a town 100km near me and got a 2008 Audi A4 which I love, though I’ll probably get a newer model with a bigger engine this spring and sell this one. Also my father is very happy too, because I gave him my Ford.

Along with this, I’ve had a pretty good year and managed to launch some great projects that are growing almost like I was planning. Even I didn’t manage to reach the visitors I wanted for all my websites, I’ll probably update the “about me” in the sidebar soon, because I’ll reach 200 million visits since I began building websites.

What I’m most happy for last year is that I managed to have a better schedule and began to write on this blog. I will continue to write here and hopefully I’ll manage to write at least 5 posts a week as of today.

Now please let me know how did 2010 end for you.

  1. Hello Alex,
I was waiting for your post from many days.
For me 2010 was a complete shift of what I’m today. I had achieved more than I thought. I had started a web designing and application development company(Byte Developers) in july 2010 and then after i meet you and Neil Patel (on blogs), inspired me to made an account on Blogger.com. (if you might like, check my latest post on http://refreshdays.blogspot.com). So overall it was a better experience last year.
