Today it’s October 10th, so it’s the time to pick the winner for my top commentators contest. Jeff Caceres won the contest with 104 comments in just 10 days. I have to say that Jeremy Litwicki has been on the second place, really close to Jeff. I also want to thank the other contestants and to let you know that a new contest will begin shortly, though I’ll probably have bigger prizes.
Google changed the Favicon again, after they already changed it in June, last year. The new favicon is very colorful and I really don’t like it. What do you think about it ?
A new version of wordpress, the script this blog is running on, is preparing to be released. The 2.7 Wireframes version comes with a lot of new features, that allow you to change your admin interface structure, fixes some bugs, but I’m sure that like any new version that comes out, it has many other new bugs. I will not install it yet, but wait for 2.7.1 or so, that should be more bugg-free. Read more
It has been a busy summer for me. Firstly I had the exams after I finished highschool, then I had to go to apply to the universities in Bucharest, the capital. Then I was living in Pitesti. Fortunately everything went excellent and I passed them all and got admitted to the university. After that I though I deserve a vacation and went to Greece ( Thassos ) for a week. After that, I had another problem: to rent an apartment in Bucharest, it was really hard to find the one [...]

Of course not everyone is satisfied with Google’s measures and many continue to sell links, but the problem comes when Google excludes them from it’s index. If G isn’t an important source of traffic for you, then you shouldn’t have any reason to worry, except that once banned you lose the PR and [...]

When an internet user needs something he usually searches for it and the webmaster or advertiser gets a targeted visitor interested in it’s content or product. If you choose the right search engine, you might find what you’re looking for and [...]
Unfortunately, I have been very busy lately and I didn’t have time to post on this blog and now the time has come for a vacation, to get some rest and relax, so I can get back to work and put my plans in application to reach my goals. Here’s what I have [...]
