I am using feedburner on 5 websites and all of them had subscribers, but now it seems i have no subscribers. Maybe feedburner is having problems, but i hope everything will be ok and they won’t lose our subscribers mailing lists.
Google Adsense takes desperate measures to promote the CPA Referrals, because probably it’s not so used, as it has a low-to-none EPC. Some publishers received an email that announced them their contextual ads will be sometimes replaced with CPA Referrals ads, without having the possibility to opt. That’s another wrong move for Adsense and they are surely losing significant users, especially the CPC is continuously going down. Here’s the email users are receiving: Dear Publisher, Your account has been selected to participate in a limited test of an exciting new [...]
When building a website, you can’t just place random sections of it until you fulfill all the space. You have to think how is better for the visitor and how can you make him stay longer, read more pages and maybe buy your product or subscribe. So, before building it think how would it be better so your visitor gets satisfied. Also, if you already have a site, visit all the pages, every side of it and imagine you are a visitors that sees it for the first time. See [...]
In the last few days i have seen on forums and blogs that people found a new type of Google Adsense Leaderboards. The Leaderboards seem to include link ads, that once clicked on, they show different ads. Google seem to have integrated the link ads into Leaderboards to be more effective, but until now they stated nothing about it. We only have some screenshots and the word of people that saw the ads. via DigitalPoint
I will be away until August 5th, while being at the seaside and probably won’t have an internet connection. So i won’t post anything until then.
There are lots of link bait techniques out there, but the content is the most important factor. And it doesn’t have to be text, you can also use a video or image as content. Content optimization for link baiting 1. I have started with the one I currently used. This means content formatting, with ( in this case ) bold subtitles and enumeration, but you can also do more, like italics, header, simply use your imagination and make your content easy readable and nice looking, so the reader doesn’t get [...]
Google has made a lot of improvements lately and it now continues by turning Feedburner’s paid features free. Yet, everyone can use MyBrand and Total Stats for free, that are very useful features for Feedburner’s users. Both paid and free users can now enjoy the ex-paid features. Paid users won’t be charged anymore as of June.
Yesterday i’ve been out of town to buy a car, a 2006 Ford Focus Hatchback and i was very happy. But my country’s laws suck so i have a lot of trouble with the documents, i have to get back to the town i got it from to the mayoralty and then to the one in my town and so on. Oh and i can’t even go with the car i bought, because it doesn’t have the obligatory insurance, as i can’t pay it until i don’t get those documents [...]
Google Adsense now offers the possibility to the user to choose from three corner styles: square corners, slightly rounded corners and very rounded corners. The new option can be found in the “Adsense Setup” tab from the Google Adsense account. Google has done some improvements lately to improve the look of ads, but the CPC rate is going down and down, unfortunately. Here’s an example for each type of corner ( click to enlarge ): via Inside Adsense
The so called “blog dollars” company is trying to expand and has announced both through a press release and on their blog that they are looking to acquire blog networks. The company states that it has ads placed on 12,000 blogs that generate over 1 billion monthly impressions and they want to grow bigger by buying blog networks. Also, they released a digg-like website, called Shlogging, currently in Beta testing phase. Here, users can submit offers and the others can vote the ones they like the most. I don’t have [...]
