Last days, AOL has released the web queries from about 650,000 users. There are about 20 million queries. The 439mb archive can be downloaded from a mirror website, here. Uncompressed it has more than 2 GigaBytes. The data includes personal names, addresses, social security numbers and everything else someone might type into a search box and it has been released without the users permissions. This will surely lower AOL’s credibility.

I have finally downloaded Google Web Accelerator because i was curious if it really helps. I can`t really notice an increase of page loading and i can`t imagine how it could help someone with it`s connection, while it`s ISP isn`t doing it. Maybe i`ll be back with feedback
