Most of the blogs approve comments automatically and this is because bloggers are lazy to verify each comment or they hope the anti-spam plugin will do its job. Currently I’m using Akismet and rarely a spam comments gets approvedy, so I let comments get approved automatically, though I check them all afterwards.
