How updating your blog can get you visitors

One of the advices I give to people that ask me is to write much quality content for their blogs and they ask me why should they spend time writing instead of promoting. Well, the most say that content is good for search engines, but they still prefer to spend their time on promotion. Among that, if you write a few posts a day, not much ( and i will say later why ), you will get your subscribers to read your blog, which means you get visitors. I don’t [...]

Recommended wordpress plugins

WordPress is a plugin-based blogging software and there are thousands of plugins available for it. But not all are really useful, so i will recommend you the ones i’m using and i really need. 1. Akismet is a preinstalled plugin and it protects you against spam. It is not 100% perfect, but almost. It sometimes tags some legit comments as spam or lets spam comments pass by. 2. Sitemaps builds a site map for your website, that you can submit to Google, so the bots navigate all your website more [...]

So yes, now we can have paypal accounts in Romania, too, but we can only send funds, the accounts being restricted. I don’t have a verified account yet, i’m waiting for my internet banking to update my transactions, but i think the only thing we can do is make payments. This should be [...]

It sems Adsense was only available for Romania unofficial and only a few ebsite have been accepted during this period. But now, as Cristian Mezei stated, it’s 100% sure that it will be available for romanians too in a few weeks. It will be a tough one for the romanian PPC advertising programs, because Google will surely have higher bids and it will probably be the only first tier advertising network in Romania. MySpace News – A Threat For Digg ?

MySpace will release in the second quarter of this year a news service running on the community rating system that Digg uses in combination with the Google News system, of course, a custom made one. It is much probably it will be a big competition for Digg and Digg-like websites because of it’s huge membership and traffic, but, fortunately for Digg, MySpace’s users aren’t Tech Geeks, as Digg’s and it may not be a direct competition, but still it’s a big threat for it. Will Digg remain the leader of [...]
