It seems that Google finally updates the Pagerank. In a few datacenters it`s already udated.
I`m curious if it will update in the other datacenters too or will get all back as they were, like the last time, on 30 July.

As you can see in the title, a lot of DP members got banned from Digg.com. The reason is clear. In fact, there are 2 reasons.
There were 2 threads, in the first one, DP members were digging eachother`s diggs. In the other thread, it was presented a website made by a DP member where people could digg eachother and get credits for this.
The reason i`m telling this it`s because i got banned too. Anyway i think we deserve it, because i think we broke Digg.com terms ( i haven`t read them ).
I will post some tips of monetizing a website, but don`t expect of getting a get-rich-quick-plan. The money depends on the website category and number of visits.
If you have a website, blog or forum, you can monetize it easily. First, you need as many visits as you can get. For this, you can use many methods, excepting SPAM or artificial traffic ( surf programs, paid to read, paid to click ). You have to know the base of internet marketing and SEO ( search engine optimization ).
If your website is in the first results of some search engines, especially Google, for some keywords, you will get visitors. To do that you need to get some BackLinks from another sites of the same category as yours and to have a lot of unique and good content. If the content is good and liked by the visitors, is liked by the search engines too and they rank you well.
After you`ve done that well, you have to put some ads on your website.
If your website isn`t porn or warez/cracks ( i don`t recommend a websites like the last listed ones ), it`s recommended that you apply for Google Adsense contextual ads. After they aproove you, if they do, you have to place the ads in the content. the most favoured places are in the header and the center of the website, right in the content, to fit with it ( same colours, same font etc. ).
You cannot place another contextual advertising on the same website where you have Google Adsense, because it will ban you. But you can place some CPM/CPA ads. CPM pays you per thousand views of ad and CPA per action. If you have many visits, you can apply for TribaFusion, CasaleMedia or others. If not, you should try Axill.com. Those ads should be placed in the header of the website, becase they have to be well seen. From my experience, the most clicked ads of this type are the standard banners ( 468*60 ) and the SkyScrapers.
This is all. If you follow all this steps and do some research work, you should manage to monetize your website.
GoodLuck
A lot of blogs get born everyday, from all the domains of activity, from agriculture to sex and from school blogs to internet related blogs.
I`m sure that the most of them are built for money. If you ask me, at least 75% of the people that start blogging, start with this idea in mind “I`ll blog for adsense revenue”.
Is blogging for money good for the readers and visitors? Absolutely not, because a man that writes with passion and doesn`t have in mind that he has to earn from that blog, surely writes more nicely than a man that writes for the revenue.
I admitt that i blog for money too, but ONLY about the thing that i like. In another words, i`m glad that i can earn money doing something i like.
Are you blogging for money ?

Those are the errors a member of DigitalPoint Forums got when tried to see a cached result from Google.
It is the first time I and all people that i now ever see an error on Google and, hopefully, for Google`s sake, the last one, too.
Many people ask themselves what`s better, to create a blog on blogspot or to create one using wordpress or another blogging script, on their own host.
I`m asking myself this too and i`m going to write down what i think about the 2 options.
People use blogspot.com especially because it`s free and easy. More than that, it`s owned by Google and they think that Google indexes and maybe places better the blogs.
The other option and the one that i prefer, it`s more advanced and gives to the user much options to optimize and change. Let`s take Wordpress for example: Firstly the user has FTP access and can upload everything he wants on the blog. He can use plug-ins, extensions, themes and much more.
In the end, i don`t know what`s the best option, but i have chosen the second one because I prefer to have total control over my blog.
These days, Google made us think it will update the Pagerank. Yesterday, 2 datacenters really updated it, especially the new websites, with no pagerank, but he didn`t forget about the old websites either.
Anyway, today everything was back to normal, like nothing happened, it was just a test of update or something like this.
The experts expect the real update to be around the 5th of july, that means in a few days.
This is the first post on my new blog
